EXTRA! EXTRA!  Over $20,000 raised for Curry's Children's dental needs.

"Golden Globes" will be the High on Health theme this year.  The April 10th dinner will help fund dental care for children in Curry County.  This year's CHF/Rotary Club Dinner and Auction will be held at the Event Center at the Curry County Fairgrounds.  Beginning with a Social Hour and Silent Auction at 5:30 the night will include a live auction and entertainment.

The Silent Auction is composed of varying-sized gift baskets on prominent display. Next to each basket is a Bid Sheet. Attendees write a bid on the accompanying sheet. If their bid is the highest by the time the Silent Auction closes, that bid wins them the basket.

Although this is not a costume party, it is expected that many will arrive in 'Golden Globe' attire.  As always, street dress is acceptable if you choose.

Tickets are $35 a piece. Many people from the Curry Health Foundation and the Gold Beach Rotary Club are hosting tables. You may sit at one of their tables or, if you just wish to purchase a ticket or two, there are also non-hosted tables.

Proceeds from this year's entire event after expenses will be matched by the Oregon Community Foundation and used in Curry County for dental care for uninsured children.

Praise for the Champagne Cruise

"I wanted to again thank you all for a fantastic time. The pre-party at the Malt Shop was great and everybody was so kind. The boat trip was excellent and I got to see a baby black bear (that's all I wanted to see), and I met some wonderful people. The food at Agness was so delicious, I can't stop raving about the salmon. Oh and the champagne and the complimentary glass just topped it all off!

I can't wait until next year!"
